Introduction to the function of AKWATEK(Polyester)

and its prospective

We make comparison analysis to the advantages and disadvantages on characteristic of the natural fiber and artificial fiber before introducing AKWATEK(Polyester):

  Natural fiber
(COTTON, RAYON, WOOL)
Artificial fiber
(NYLON, POLYESTER, ACRYLIC)
Advantages:
  1. Water absorption
  2. Thermal insulation
  3. Soft and comfortable
  1. Easy washing
  2. Fast drying
  3. Iron free
  4. Diversification
Disadvantages:
  1. Water contain is between  20%~35% and are biologically digestible, provide condition for microorganism growth and are the main cause of stint smell.
  2. Easy loosen fiber: shorten the life span of fabric.
  3. Easy deformed: unstable in size, need ironing.
  1. No water absorption
  2. Vast static amount
  3. Cold touch
  4. Poor sweat discharge

For the purpose to combine the advantages and eliminate the disadvantages of the natural fiber and artificial fiber, the mixed woven and fabric of Poly-ester/Cotten, Polyester/Rayon, Polyester/Wool were made, but still unable to solve all the defects.

In order to satisfy the market demand of new mankind of twenty first century, the added value of the artificial fiber was developed and we have:

  1. MICROFIBER: The surface area increment of ultra fine fiber is employed to achieve the quick core absorption effect.
  2. Composite fiber: use two or more materials to draw filament by molten and leave dented slot on the surface of fiber, formed channel of water absorption and discharging, achieve the function of sweat expelling
  3. Coating: use chemicals coated on fabric upon formation by heating and pressurized (temporary core absorption effect). Above are using the capillary pore of the fabric to achieve purpose of water absorption and sweat discharging. But since the sweat drop formed on our body, the feeling of sticky is unable to be eliminated. Scientists of USA conduct further study and invented the near perfect ~ AKWATEK for solving this problem.

Unique features of AKWATEK fabric

A. Extra powerful in conducting vapor molecule:

Conduct water vapor to the surface of fabric before the water molecule form into water drop, so, it possesses extra powerful in water absorption than hetro-section gauze and absorbent agent.

Example for water absorption and breathing:

When we open the window after bathing in winter, the vapor vanish fast enough, but the water drop on the wall take time to disappear. This message tells us that the best vent and water absorption fabric is to make vapor vanish in short time rather than to convey after water condensed.

B. The ability of conduction of water molecule will not be forfeited of lowered due to external factors (high temperature, high pressure, acid & alkaline)
¤ The AKWATEK is chemical property change, the active OH base and the POLYESTER molecule fused in one, thus the function is continuous and permanent.

From the table shown that extra strong drop dispersion and characteristic of core absorption even after 50 washes, which is champion in all wet absorption products.
